Job summary

SPG, a large manufacturer in Kingsport, TN, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support electrical control systems, equipment, and medium voltage power systems. The role focuses on hardware and software design for capital projects and close collaboration with maintenance to ensure smooth operations.

You will design and implement PLCs, HMIs, and AC/DC drives, while contributing to project initiatives across the maintenance team. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Overview

A large, continuous-process manufacturer in the greater Kingsport, TN area is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support its electrical control systems, equipment, machinery, and medium voltage power systems. This role plays a key part in the hardware and software design of new capital projects, working closely with the maintenance team to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll do

Required qualifications

• BSEE
• At least 4 years of manufacturing experience

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of medium voltage power systems is a plus
