Job summary

Career Professionals, Inc. is seeking a plant Electrical Engineer in the Kingsport area to support electrical control systems, equipment, machinery, and medium voltage power systems. You will design hardware and software for PLCs, HMIs, and drives (AC and DC).

Qualified candidates must have a BSEE with at least 4 years of manufacturing experience. Relocation assistance is available. Excellent compensation package with salary, benefits, and bonus offered.

Qualifications

• BSEE and at least 4 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience programming VFDs, HMIs, servo drives, robotics and other controllers required.
• Knowledge of medium voltage power systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Will work closely with Maintenance on capital project initiatives.
• Design hardware and software for PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
• Support electrical control and power systems throughout the plant.

Job description

Large, continuous process manufacturer in the greater Kingsport area has immediate opening for a plant Electrical Engineer to support electrical control systems, equipment, machinery, and medium voltage power systems. The Electrical Engineer will be involved in hardware / software design for PLCs, HMIs, and drives (AC and DC).

Experience programming VFDs, HMIs, servo drives, robotics and other controllers is required.

Will work closely with Maintenance on capital project initiatives.

Qualified candidates MUST have a BSEE along with at least 4 years manufacturing experience. Knowledge of medium voltage power systems is a plus.

Prefer candidates already located in the Tri-Cities area, or those who have ties to the area. Relocation assistance IS available.
