Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field; PE license preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction and design.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and Chicago Electrical Code.

Responsibilities

• Design single line, three line, wiring diagrams, general arrangement, and equipment layouts.
• Develop electrical calculations for loads, feeder sizing, voltage drop, lighting, and power distribution.
• Prepare installation details, schedules, and calculations for stakeholder submissions.
• Conduct arc flash, short circuit, and coordination studies.
• Create shop drawings and AutoCAD/Revit layouts for construction teams.
