As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for a variety of commercial projects. Your role will encompass creating electrical permit and construction drawings, performing necessary calculations, and preparing close‑out documents. You will utilize tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SKM PowerTools, and various manufacturer online design tools. Projects typically include electrical distribution systems requiring single line drawings for submission to utilities, building departments (AHJ) for approval, and field personnel for installation. The projects will span industrial facilities, data centers, hospitals, commercial office buildings, and higher education facilities.
