Job summary

The Chemours Company in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer Co-op to join our Manufacturing Technology team. You will work closely with seasoned engineers on hands‑on projects in a chemical plant and gain real‑time engineering experience, reporting to the site co‑op coordinator.

Candidates must be enrolled as a junior or higher in an accredited Electrical Engineering program, with familiarity of Word, Excel and PowerPoint; preferred 3.2 GPA.

Qualifications

• Enrollment at an accredited college as a Junior or above at time of assignment.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced engineering professionals on improvement and expansion projects.
• Assist operations and maintenance with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
• Participate in process safety management activities and reviews.
• Contribute to team meetings and conference calls.
• Further development of Process Technology.

Education

Pursuing Electrical Engineering degree

Enrollment as Junior or above

GPA 3.2 or higher
