Job summary

The Chemours Company in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer Co-op to join our Manufacturing Technology team. You will work closely with seasoned engineers on hands‑on projects in a chemical plant and gain real‑time engineering experience, reporting to the site co‑op coordinator.

Candidates must be enrolled as a junior or higher in an accredited Electrical Engineering program, with familiarity of Word, Excel and PowerPoint; preferred 3.2 GPA.

Qualifications

• Enrollment at an accredited college as a Junior or above at time of assignment.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Work with experienced engineering professionals on improvement and expansion projects.
• Assist operations and maintenance with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
• Participate in process safety management activities and reviews.
• Contribute to team meetings and conference calls.
• Further development of Process Technology.

Education

Chemours is seeking an Electrical Engineer Co-op to join our Manufacturing Technology team! This position will report directly to the Corpus Christi site co‑op coordinator.

As an Electrical Engineer Co-op, you will work closely with the manufacturing technology team gaining valuable experience through hands‑on projects in a chemical plant. You will have exposure to real‑time engineering work alongside other engineers to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom.

Effective engineering co‑ops will have the ability to communicate with impact, have strong self‑awareness, and will be naturally inquisitive.

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Hours: Regular full‑time schedule of 40 hours per week

Preferred First Term: Spring 2027

Candidates must be able to commit to at least a total of six (6) months as a co‑op. Two (2) or more terms may be required.
