Job summary

Garver, LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Denver to assess existing facilities and develop electrical designs for Buildings projects. You will design electrical, lighting, telecom, security, and fire alarm systems, and coordinate with disciplines and regional offices.

The role requires a PE license, ABET-accredited degree, 5–15 years of building design experience, and proficiency with Revit and MS Office. Occasional travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree required.
• PE license required.
• 5–15 years of building design/construction experience.
• Experience overseeing electrical designs with detailed plans and specs.
• Proficient in building electrical systems including power, lighting, telecom.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing facilities and develop electrical designs for Buildings projects.
• Design electrical, lighting, telecommunications, security, and fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and regional offices.
• Assist project managers in project management and QA/QC.
• Travel to project locations as required.
• Produce construction drawings using CAD and BIM.
• Perform electrical calculations and use Excel-based tools for design.
