Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an Electrical Engineer focused on Battery Management Systems for autonomous vehicles. You will design, test, and validate BMS hardware, and lead vehicle-level integrations from concept through production.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of board design experience, strong mixed-signal design, and familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI and CAD tools (Altium preferred). EMI testing and ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of board design experience.
• Strong circuit design background, including mixed-signal design.
• Experience with BMS or automotive industry.
• Experience in power electronics, converters, powertrain, or UAS.
• Proficient with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, current probes, and automated tests.
• Familiarity with CAN, I2C, SPI interfaces and various CAD tools (Altium preferred).
• Experience with EMI testing and ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and validate Battery Management Systems for autonomous vehicles.
• Vehicle-level integrations and complete lifecycle design from concept through production.
• Full cycle PCB design including requirements, schematic, component selection, layout, bring-up, test and integration with the system.
• Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses that connect electronic equipment.
• Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
• Build up and test engine system components through lab, ground, and flight tests.
• Root cause analysis in support of field operations.
