Job summary

The Davis Companies in Westborough, MA, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead design and development of advanced electronic systems for high-performance industrial equipment and electronics assembly environments.

You will design mixed-signal PCBs, develop electrical, pneumatic and motion control systems, specify and test components, and guide prototype testing and cross-functional collaboration to drive product improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with analog and digital PCB design.
• Experience with motion control systems and power distribution.

Responsibilities

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced electronic systems used in high-performance industrial equipment and electronics assembly environments.

What You'll Do

• Lead complex electrical engineering projects from concept through production
• Design mixed-signal analog and digital PCBs
• Develop electrical, pneumatic, and motion control systems
• Specify, integrate, and test components including drives, motors, power supplies, and control systems
• Create and maintain engineering documentation through ECO/PCO processes
• Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and product enhancements
• Provide technical guidance across manufacturing, service, and other cross-functional teams

What We're Looking For

BS in Electrical Engineering

8+ years of electrical engineering experience

Strong experience with:

• PCB design and layout (analog & digital)
• Motion control systems
• Power distribution and control systems
• Oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and electronic test equipment
• Electrical and pneumatic schematics

CAD experience with:

• SolidWorks
• Exposure to schematic capture/layout

Preferred Experience

• Electronics manufacturing equipment
• Optical systems/design
• Regulatory compliance and product safety
• QAD or similar MRP systems
