NTN Driveshaft is seeking an Electrical Engineer for our Columbus, Indiana operation. The role focuses on determining control systems, data acquisition, and vision integration to support production and assembly.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Electrical Engineering and 3–5 years of hands-on experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi), vision systems (Keyence, Cognex), and robotics (Motoman, Fanuc). Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering with demonstrated experience in machine control and data acquisition systems.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in this field.
• Experience with PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi) and vision systems (Keyence, Cognex); robotics (Motoman, Fanuc).

Responsabilidades

• Determine equipment control, data acquisition, and vision systems; define the operation sequence for production and assembly.
• Develop new processes and equipment technology to improve quality and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Monitor, analyze, and evaluate test data from process trials.
• Support product and application engineering with process-related issues.
• Prepare concise technical reports for project and process reviews.
• Develop and modify manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment.
• Ensure product quality through testing and system capabilities.
• Collaborate with team to achieve related results.
