Job summary

Pilkington North America Inc. seeks an electrical engineering professional for a full-time position at the Shelbyville, IN facility. You will work on automated manufacturing systems, PLCs, robots, HMIs and drives across shifts to support a 24/7 operation.

The role emphasizes safety, project execution, and hands-on troubleshooting on the plant floor. Qualifications include an Electrical Engineering or related degree, AutoCAD proficiency, and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

Electrical engineering degree required.
CAD drawing capabilities – AutoCAD.
PLC programming and troubleshooting.
3–5 years electrical engineering experience in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Provide and maintain a safe working environment on the Shelbyville floor.
Support automated manufacturing systems including PLCs, PCs, servos, robots, HMIs, and drives.
Coordinate electrical activities to meet timing, quality and cost targets.
Design, cost and implement equipment and process improvements from concept to completion.
Supervise contractors and vendors and train plant personnel as required.
