Job summary

This role requires independent work with supervision and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will modify equipment for continuous improvement, manage capital budgets, and support automation projects, with hands-on experience in Rockwell ControlLogix, Studio 5000, and Allen-Bradley drives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in electrical engineering or automation.
• Strong experience with Rockwell ControlLogix processors and remote IO topology.
• Proficient in PLC programming, Studio 5000, and Allen-Bradley drives; familiar with NFPA 70E safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing equipment per production or tech service requests for continuous improvement and automation.
• Support relationships with internal and external stakeholders via clear communication and negotiation.
• Manage contractors and service technicians to improve equipment uptime and productivity.
• Design, develop, and supervise electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Collaborate with equipment designers and vendors to obtain clear technical specifications.
