Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to research, develop, design, and test electrical components, systems, and networks.

The role requires independent work with supervision and the ability to influence others in the job area. Responsibilities include modifying equipment for continuous improvement, coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, and managing budgets to meet plant objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley control systems and programming.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing equipment per production or tech service requests for continuous improvement/automation.
• Manage contractor(s) and service technicians to improve equipment uptime and productivity.
• Design, develop, and supervise electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
