Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field plus ≥3 years relevant experience.
• Strong experience with Rockwell ControlLogix processors and remote IO topology.
• Proficient PLC programming from scratch and modifications for production/maintenance.
• Experience with Allen Bradley VFDs and Servo drives; troubleshooting.
• Familiar with industrial Ethernet and machine networks.
• Familiar with equipment safety, design, risk assessment and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing equipment for continuous improvement/automation.
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage contractors and service technicians to meet uptime/productivity goals.
• Design, develop and supervise electrical control systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with vendors by providing clear specs to optimize requests.
• Maintain capital and expense budgets to meet plant objectives.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic and self-starting behavior.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
