Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field from an accredited university.
• Experience with schematic capture and/or PCB layout tools (Altium, Eagle, KiCad, Mentor Graphics, Cadence).
• Experience with circuit/simulation tools (LTspice, PSpice, Simulink, NI Multisim, MATLAB).
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, function/signal generators, network/spectrum/logic analyzers).
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain/maintain DoD Secret clearance.

What You Will Be Doing

The Associate Electrical Engineer will support the design, development, integration, and test of electrical hardware across a variety of defense programs. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting production and development teams with resolving technical challenges, incorporating engineering changes, updating drawings and assembly parts lists, and developing new designs or tools
• Supporting circuit card assembly (CCA) design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and design documentation
• Performing circuit simulation and analysis using tools such as LTspice, PSpice, Simulink, NI Multisim, or MATLAB
• Utilizing test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers) to support hardware bring‑up and troubleshooting
• Supporting hardware operations and providing assistance to engineering, manufacturing, quality, and operations teams
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support design integration and interface resolution
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including test procedures, design reports, and engineering change documentation

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university.
• Experience with schematic capture and/ or PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, Mentor Graphics, Cadence, etc.)
• Experience with simulation tools (LTspice, PSpice, Simulink, NI Multisim, MATLAB, etc.)
• Familiarity with test equipment (This may include oscilloscope, multimeter, function generator, signal generator, network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, etc.)
• Must be a US Citizen; must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Desired Skills

• Exposure to a laboratory, design, or testing environment, engaging with hardware hands‑on (soldering, breadboarding, prototype assembly, or similar)
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues demonstrated through hands‑on experience
• Experience with digital and analog circuit design (PSpice, LTspice, TINA‑TI) including hybrid technologies and high‑speed digital design
• Experience with signal integrity design tools such as Hyperlynx
• Understanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) principles
• Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for testability (DFT) principles
• Familiarity with embedded systems, microprocessors, and digital signal processing principles
• Experience working with engineering drawings.

Pay Information

Full‑Time Salary Range: $58200.00 - $108200.00
