DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics work. You bring judgment from years of designing, debugging, and shipping hardware. We provide engineering problems the models cannot yet solve on their own.

This role focuses on guiding AI to reason correctly about circuits, systems, and physical constraints. Your engineering judgment and written rationales shape the next generation of engineering tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred but not required.
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to defend component-level and system-level decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems from your practice.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs.
• Compare model versions on identical prompts and evaluate performance.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, and calculations with rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence and clear reasoning.
