Job description

Adecco is working with a manufacturing company in Bedford, NH to bring on an Electrical Engineer to join their Advanced Products team. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on hardware design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with flexibility
Salary: Starting around $90,000+, depending on experience
Employment Type: Direct Hire / Permanent

What You’ll Be Doing:

As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll help design and develop high-performance electronic hardware from concept through testing and verification. This position combines mixed-signal circuit design, embedded systems, power electronics, and hands‑on lab work in a highly technical engineering environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop mixed-signal electronic hardware and systems
  • Create schematics and support circuit design from concept through hardware verification
  • Work with high-speed communication interfaces including 10G+ SerDes, I2C, SPI, and UART
  • Design and support circuits utilizing FPGAs and embedded microprocessors
  • Work with high‑power DC‑DC converters and high‑voltage/high‑speed switching applications
  • Build, test, and validate prototype and production hardware
  • Perform hands‑on testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electronic test equipment
  • Analyze test results and troubleshoot hardware or performance issues
  • Identify root causes and develop solutions when technical issues arise
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and testing teams throughout product development
  • Document designs, testing, and engineering results
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as SerDes, I2C, SPI, and UART
  • Understanding of FPGA and embedded microprocessor circuit design
  • Knowledge of power electronics, including DC-DC converters and switching circuits
  • Experience with schematic design and capture
  • Strong hands‑on laboratory skills
  • Comfortable using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and electronic test equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities (with **)**
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a technical environment
  • U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of the work
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Why Consider This Opportunity?

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to be hands‑on with the hardware they design. Rather than focusing on one small portion of a project, you'll have exposure to design, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and final hardware verification.

You'll join an Advanced Products team working on technically challenging electronic systems and have the opportunity to develop solutions involving high‑speed communications, embedded processing, FPGA technology, and power electronics.
