Job summary

Wilmington Machinery LLC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for large-scale manufacturing machinery based on-site in Wilmington, NC. You will create schematics, select components, support assembly and commissioning, and troubleshoot electrical issues on equipment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with industrial machinery, automation, or manufacturing environments is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, use CAD and electrical design software, and work hands-on with equipment.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices in industrial settings.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Role Description

The Electrical Engineer role at Wilmington Machinery LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Wilmington, NC. This role involves designing and developing electrical systems for large-scale manufacturing machinery, including power distribution and control systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating electrical schematics, selecting components, supporting assembly and installation, and troubleshooting electrical issues on equipment. The Electrical Engineer will collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, industrial electricians, and production teams to ensure systems meet performance, safety, and quality standards. The role also includes contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, supporting new product development, and providing technical support to internal stakeholders and customers as needed.

Qualifications
