The Controls Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Wilmington, NC. This position is responsible for designing, programming, and integrating control systems for injection molding and related manufacturing equipment. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing process control strategies, configuring motion control and robotics components, and collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless system operation. The Controls Engineer will diagnose and troubleshoot control system issues, optimize equipment performance, and support testing, commissioning, and documentation of control solutions. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and supporting new product and technology development.
