Flex is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Henrico, VA facility, supporting switchgear design and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical design for switchgear systems, hands‑on experience with AutoCAD Electrical, and familiarity with UL 891 standards. This role primarily supports second‑shift manufacturing and engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts for switchgear systems.
• Create, update, and maintain electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Ensure all designs comply with UL 891 and relevant industry standards.
• Support the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of switchgear products.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams.
• Review and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and BOMs.
• Provide engineering support for troubleshooting, testing, and production issues.
• Ensure designs meet safety, performance, and customer requirements.
