Job description

Our electrical engineers are the backbone of Neros. Almost everything we build is designed from the ground up - our electrical engineers are essential for this to happen. You will be taking products/components from requirements all the way through to production. It's a very hands-on role!

Requirements

1. 5+ years of industry experience
2. Experience with full stack electrical product development including: requirements definition, schematic design, PCB layout/manufacturing, debugging, and production testing (Firm requirement)
3. Capable of writing smart engineering requirements documents, designing test procedures, and coordinating with production to handoff projects
4. Strong knowledge of Altium Designer
5. Strong lab skills (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, etc.)
6. Automated testing experience
7. SMT soldering / PCB modifications
8. Ability to obtain US top secret security clearance

Nice to have

• Engineering project management
• Working with bare metal (C) embedded programming skills, specifically on STM platforms
• Experience with analog video systems (CVBS / PAL / NTSC) - very valuable
• Experience with digital video systems (e.g., MIPI-CSI)
• Experience with camera design
• Experience with RF communication, DSP, or FPGAs
• Experience with LoRa
• Controls experience (e.g., PID controllers)
• Experience with antennas and RF routing
• UAV electronics design experience (FPV / Betaflight)
