Job summary

ITMC Systems, Inc. is seeking a senior electrical engineer to design and develop electrical systems and components in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead projects from conception through completion, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and generate BOMs for printed board assemblies (PBAs). The role requires extensive circuit design and testing expertise, strong documentation, and compliance with aerospace standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Typically 15+ years of circuit design integration and test experience.
• U.S. Person (US citizen or resident) for export compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and components.
• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Generate BOMs for PBAs and ensure regulatory compliance during development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues uncovered by circuit tests and measurements.
• Prepare investigations and test results to document findings and trade studies.

Job description

• Design and develop electrical systems and components
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion
• Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
• Complete assignments by applying electrical engineering methods
• Generate Bill-of-Materials (BOMs) for Printed Board Assemblies (PBAs)
• Leverage knowledge of circuit design, circuit simulation, and analysis
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems/failures uncovered by circuit card tests
• Prepare investigation and test results to document findings

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor(Bs Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or equivalent
• Typically, 15+ years working with circuit design integration and test experience
• U.S. Person (US citizen or Resident Alien Green Card) for export compliance

WE VALUE

• Experience with Mentor Graphix Designer or equivalent circuit design tool set
• Analog circuit design experience and standard lab equipment (meters, probes, etc.)
• Ability to produce white papers to document investigation findings, test results, and outcomes of trade studies
• Knowledge of obsolescence parts replacement, identification of substitute parts, and making board level drawing changes
• Experience with circuit design, circuit simulation, and analysis at a level required for fault isolation and hands-on troubleshooting
• Familiarity with aircraft/aerospace test standards, such as DO-178B, DO-160, or DO-254
