Job summary

The State Group is seeking a Site Electrical Engineer for a 12-month project in Bowling Green, Ohio. You will design power distribution, supervise installation, and guide commissioning activities on site.

This role requires 10+ years of experience with electrical power systems, strong problem-solving and collaboration skills, and a bachelor's degree in engineering. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam is preferred, and candidate should be able to work in field conditions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with electrical power distribution systems.
• Experience with testing, commissioning, and startup of electrical equipment.
• Understanding of safety codes and industry standards.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical problems.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design power distribution systems.
• Supervise electrical equipment installation.
• Execute system testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
• Support onsite execution and field operations.
• Perform pre-commissioning activities and functional checks.
• Conduct loop checks and equipment energization.
• Commission and start up switchgear, transformers, and generators.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues during installation and startup.
• Coordinate with electrical installation teams to verify quality of work.
• Track and resolve punch-list items.
• Provide field support throughout project execution.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM

• 10+ years of experience with electrical power distribution systems.
• Experience with testing, commissioning, and startup of electrical equipment.
• Understanding of safety codes and industry standards.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical problems.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
