Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join a cutting-edge startup in Cedar Creek, Texas. In this role, you will support senior engineers on circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB review for active programs.

You will build, bring up, and debug prototype boards and harnesses at the bench, set up bench tests, collect data, and analyze results, while writing test procedures and design records to our documentation standard.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering (recent graduates welcome).
• Solid fundamentals in circuit analysis, analog and digital electronics, and microcontrollers.
• Hands-on at the bench: oscilloscope, function generator, power supply, DMM, soldering and rework.
• Clear technical writing; documentation will take roughly 30 to 40 percent of your time.
• Availability for extended hours and weekend work during test campaigns and program deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Internship, co-op, or lab experience in electronics design or test.
• Senior design, competition teams (robotics, rocketry, drones), or personal electronics projects.
• Experience with Altium or KiCad, and Python or MATLAB for data analysis.
