Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Endwell, NY team. You will design, develop, and test components, and you will review schematics and PCB layouts for production. You will debug hardware and software interfaces and create automation scripts for firmware and test equipment.

Interacting with customers and vendors is part of the role. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 1–3 years of experience and is proficient with PCB tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience (co-ops and internships considered).
• Experience with PCB schematics and layouts.
• Familiar with C, C#, FPGA, or Python is ideal.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to relocate near the Endwell, NY area.

Key Duties include

• Provide electrical design, development, and testing of parts
• Review and create schematics and PCB layouts

• Perform PCB rework, soldering and component replacementCreate scripts for firmware and test equipment automation

Education, Experience, and Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related
• 1-3 years of experience (co-op and internships considered)
• Experience with Mentor Graphics PADS, OrCAD, Altium or similar is required
• Familiar with C, C#, FPGA, or Python is ideal
• Experience using Test Tools (meters, oscilloscopes, power supplies)
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
• Ability to relocate near the Endwell, NY area
