Job description

Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer in our Building Services unit. For this position we are seeking someone with 0-5 years of experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Design of electrical lighting, power, and auxiliary systems for education, recreational, commercial, housing, and healthcare buildings. Projects also include water/wastewater, and the education sector
• Prepare electrical, low voltage, and special systems project construction documents and specifications
• Assist in the preparation of project fees and budgets

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
• Strong ability to work in both AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience in building electrical systems preferred
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to traverse sites, including walking over rough terrain
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Must complete a background check

SALARY RANGE

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $65,000 to $91,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
