Arconic Davenport Works is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the Hot Rolling Department in Davenport, IA. The role focuses on leading capital projects from concept through commissioning and delivering safe, reliable electrical systems for rolling operations.

You will mentor engineers and interns, coordinate with maintenance and production teams, and report to the Lead Electrical Engineer. Normal hours are days, with some off-shift support as required for project timelines.

Job Summary:

This Electrical Engineer is a great opportunity to apply your technical skills while coordinating numerous capital projects across the Plate department from start to finish. This role is driven by self-directed work and collaborative efforts with a team of Electrical Engineers, Technical staff, maintenance, and production across the department. As a seasoned Electrical Engineer, you will serve as a mentor to other Engineers, including new hires and interns.

The Electrical Engineer reports to the Lead Electrical Engineer in the department and will work Monday through Friday during daytime hours. You will support off-shifts as needed for your respective projects.
