The Electrical Engineer II will collaborate with mechanical, optical, and firmware teams to deliver innovative, high-quality products from concept through production.

This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with several years of circuit and PCB design experience who wants to expand into broader product ownership — including system‑level integration, testing, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits and PCB layouts for lighting and control products.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure robust system integration across mechanical, firmware, and optical engineering.
  • Conduct design verification, testing, and troubleshooting within in‑house labs.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing new product development and sustaining engineering activities.
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, test plans, and reports.
  • Partner with purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure component availability, cost optimization, and manufacturability.
  • Contribute to design improvements related to EMI/EMC performance, power efficiency, and reliability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–7+ years of experience in electronic circuit and PCB design.
  • Proficiency in Altium Designer (experience with PADS a plus).
  • Working knowledge of firmware integration, embedded systems, and product lifecycle development.
  • Understanding of automotive or off‑highway electrical systems, including lighting, power supply, or motor control applications.
  • Familiarity with CAN communication, simulation tools, and EMI/EMC design principles.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Benefits
  • Base salary range: $71,000 – $105,000, depending on experience
  • Annual performance‑based bonus
  • Relocation assistance available
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401(k) with match, and paid time off
