Job description

Location: Hybrid (2 days on-site) – St. Charles, IL 60174

I am looking for a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer with discreet level design experience to join a growing team that creates new electronics products for customers. The ideal candidate will be experienced in analog and switch design, with LED lighting and automotive experience being a plus.

In this role you will

• Work on a variety of products
• Design and develop electrical circuits and systems with a focus on analog design and switch design
• Work on LED lighting and automotive applications (preferred)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new and existing product development
• Perform 75% design work and 25% documentation
• Ensure stable work history with strong technical expertise
• Create and implement new designs into production and see through the product lifecycle and launch.
• Prepare the product detailed schematics / drawings as required.
• Analyze test data and reports to determine if the design meets functional and performance requirements
• Work with suppliers for quotes, specs and samples
• Maintain customer engineering contact throughout the program, communicating the launch timing and technical development.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE)
• Strong expertise in analog design and switch design
• 2-5+ years of Electrical Design engineering
• Experience with PSpice for circuit simulation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• LED lighting and automotive experience are preferred but not required
