Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
• 2+ years of experience programming industrial controls for CNC systems.
• Strong aptitude in ladder logic programming.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
• Technical writing experience highly recommended.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills, including root-cause analysis of electrical and software issues.
• Applied mathematical skills and mechanical analysis ability.
• FANUC CNC programming (Macro programming, PMC ladder logic, G-code optimization, Servo tuning, Parameter setup).

Responsibilities

I have a client located in the Marshall, MO area that has an opportunity for a Electrical Engineer. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in discussing this role, In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting CNC control system software on CNC-based equipment. This role focuses on creating reliable, user-friendly machine control programs that support the integration of PLC, HMI, motion, and CNC control systems. Experience with FANUC CNC controls and CNC programming is required. This position is a temp to perm or direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
