Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Engineer for medium and high voltage power distribution/design in Marion, IA. You will work on upgrades and systems under supervision, mentored by a PE, with opportunities for S&C switches and relay coordination.

Responsibilities include load studies and reporting, and using AutoCAD with MEP for 3D modeling to support industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Load studies and reporting are required.
• Relay coordination and programming for MCCs.
• Design upgrades on small to medium projects.

Job description

Medium and High Voltage Power Distribution/Design is the real focus here.

EE low to medium for industries in Cargills, food/bev, waste water-Engineer & Design upgrades and systems.

Load studies and reporting, relay coordination-programming of that (relays go into MCCs-see pulse downstreams and kick it off) S&C Switches, any industrial.

Will work under general supervision and mentored by PE. Low and medium upgrades on small to medium size projects.

Design tools-autocad software electrical is a plus, MEP for 3D modeling
