Responsibilities
- Lead preparation of detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications
- Lead development of procurement documents for design and construction phases
- Prepare and evaluate proposals, technical reports, and cost estimates
- Perform detailed engineering analysis supporting procurement and construction activities
- Interface directly with clients to review project scope, requirements, and technical solutions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams
- Lead overall design of power systems including engine generators, paralleling switchgear, protective relaying, medium and low voltage distribution equipment, lighting systems, and associated controls
- Develop and maintain electrical specification sections
- Mentor junior engineers and designers by providing technical guidance and design direction
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineering License preferred but not required
- 5+ years of related engineering experience, preferably in consulting, Architecture and Engineering firms, or Electrical design environments
- Experience supporting water and wastewater treatment facilities is a plus
