TJob Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer Supervisor to lead electrical maintenance operations at our industrial plant. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting, improving processes, and ensuring workplace safety. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining operational efficiency and reducing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems across the plant
• Implement maintenance systems like PM, TPM, and SAP
• Train and guide engineers and technicians
• Upgrade equipment to improve process flow
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Supervise equipment installations and repairs
• Maintain spare parts inventory
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Supervise a team of 5–8 electrical maintenance staff
• Fill in for the department manager when required

Must-Have Skills:

• VFD Control Systems
• Experience with SCADA, HMI, and control systems
• Electrical troubleshooting in industrial environments
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Experience in steel, aluminum, or paper industries is a plus

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5–10 years of related experience in electrical maintenance

Additional Skills:

• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to read electrical drawings, manuals, and write reports
• Good with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel)
• Knowledge of SAP preferred
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Physical & Work Environment:

• May need to lift to 25 lbs. occasionally
• Exposure to mechanical parts, electrical equipment, dust, and noise
• Work involves both factory floor and technical documentation
