Job summary

Stellantis seeks a Manufacturing/Engineering professional to support North America powertrain battery tray/frame, casting, components, engine, and transmission programs. You will participate in an engineering team to develop and launch processes meeting safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals for NM, NNM, and adaptation programs.

The role covers scope from RFQs and sourcing to installation of facilities, with emphasis on cost studies, problem solving, and SPW deployment.

Qualifications

• BS in a related technical discipline or HS diploma/GED with 3 years of engineering or Manufacturing Engineering experience
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization
• Strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills
• Ability to translate technical data and analysis into an executive summary format for presentation in easily understandable formats
• Knowledge of advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage data analysis to identify root causes and attack them to closure
• Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning
• Intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office, advanced knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studies
• Understand engineering scope definition, RFQ’s, sourcing, technical evaluations, design, manufacturing, and installation of air/mist/coolant collectors and filtration
• Support and prioritize the Non-New Model (NNM) powertrain programs requests and ensure that approved programs are completed on time and within budget
• Support all New Model (NM) program’s facilities aspects including site preparation and machine installation
• Support flow activities on programs ensuring successful implementation and tracking of the Iron Triangle (Scope, Timing, and Cost)
• Participate in the implementation of Stellantis Production Way (SPW) methodology, supporting all activities including deployment of advanced SPW tools and guide systematic root cause problem solving methods to attack risks
• Development/improvement of process and equipment standards related to facilities infrastructure
• Manufacturing Plants located in Dundee, Michigan (MI), Trenton, Michigan (MI), Kokomo, Indiana (IN) and Saltillo, Mexico (MX); Transmission Plants in Kokomo and Tipton, Indiana (IN); Casting Plants in Kokomo, Indiana (IN) and Etobicoke, Ontario (ON), Toledo, Ohio (OH), in conjunction with Global Center of Competency initiatives
• Drive standardization across plants in all regions

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in program management or multi-tasking environment
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams responsible for developing, specifying, building, andlaunching powertrain manufacturing products
