Job summary

BranchPattern in Kansas City, MO is seeking a dynamic Electrical Engineer to support analysis, design, documentation, and specification development for electrical building systems. You will work with experienced engineers on projects across healthcare, higher education, and civic sectors, contributing to meaningful facilities.

FE or EIT preferred; 1–2 years experience; degree in EE or architectural engineering.

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering (electrical emphasis).

Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals.
  • Perform electrical analysis and develop designs aligned with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and technicians to meet deadlines.
  • Provide construction administration and support project managers.

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Electrical Engineer who is ready to learn, contribute, and grow. In this role, you will support analysis, design, documentation, and specification development for electrical building systems while working closely with experienced engineers, designers, and project teams. Requirements
  • FE or EIT (Preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in Electrical Building Systems. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering (electrical emphasis).
  • Skilled Revit and CADD user.
Responsibilities
  • Manage electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals.
  • Perform all electrical engineering analysis required and develop quality design for projects that are consistent with the Owner's Project Requirements, Codes and Criteria, and BranchPattern's Standards.
  • Work closely with other engineers, designers, and technicians to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • Provide construction administration.
  • Support project managers on select projects.
  • Manage project issues and resolutions.
  • Provide feedback to the Lead Engineer on standards and best practices.
