Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate power and lighting distribution systems that meet project specs
• Work under the guidance of an in‑house Professional Engineer (PE)
• Manage and schedule VDC/BIM modelers (3D modelers / 2D drafters)
• Review, edit, and write project specifications
• Generate and review production submittals to ensure compliance
• Support estimating by attending jobsite walk‑throughs, defining scope, and creating bill of materials
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and other engineering staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
• 2–5 years experience with an electrical contractor (preferred) or A/E firm
• Strong proficiency in Revit
• Experience writing, reviewing, and editing project specifications
• Experience generating and reviewing production submittals
• Comfortable conducting walk‑throughs, defining scope, and building BOMs
• Ability to manage others and work cross‑functionally
• Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects
• Self‑directed, proactive, and able to take projects from concept to completion
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset
