Job description

Design a board, watch it get tested to destruction, then improve it. Sound fun?

In this role, you own the board design end to end - you'll be working primarily on digital and mixed signal boards, generally 4 to 6 layers, and you will have a focus on miniaturization. The environments you boards will be operating in will be extreme, so a background in a sector like space or aerospace would be a big plus.

This role would suit you if you enjoy designing new products, working in a highly technical role, and constant test and improvement - you'll be testing your designs on site, reviewing the data, and then improving the design. You'll also have strong analytical skills, and be comfortable creating and solving calculations.

The role is based on site in Herndon, Virginia, and the base salary is in the region of $140k - $180k dependent on experience. You will need to be eligible for Secret level security clearance to be considered for this role, and you will also need to be willing to travel within the United States and to Europe occasionally for testing.
