Job summary

blueStone Solutions Group in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to assess project feasibility, develop scopes, review drawings, and ensure codes compliance across industrial environments.

You will lead bid specs, negotiate with contractors, and collaborate with multiple teams to meet milestones while supervising field contractors.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Technical Trader Certification, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• 2+ years of technical drawing experience.
• 2+ years in industrial power distribution/system design.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software.
• Experience in bid spec development and contractor negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule, and budget
• Create scope of work, bid package, and project specifications
• Review technical drawings, provide feedback, and negotiate changes
• Evaluate electrical power systems
• Ensure electrical and safety compliance with local and national codes
• Collaborate with 3rd party Safety Compliance Contractors
• Evaluate power distribution/breaker size/Amp draw/SCCR/Panel Loading
• Specify and confirm electrical components for industrial equipment
• Collaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones
• Supervise contractors in a green-field or brown-field work environment
• Coordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers, and equipment manufacturers
• Develop countermeasures for project delays to ensure timely project completion
