Job summary

Lumicity in Fremont, California is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing industrial automation team. This hands-on role focuses on designing complex electrical systems for automated machinery, collaborating with startups to large corporations.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in electrical design, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, and strong knowledge of NFPA, CE and SEMI standards, EMC, grounding, and servo/stepper control.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in electrical design, preferably within automated/robotics.
• Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical compliance and industry standards (NFPA, CE, SEMI).
• Knowledge of grounding, shielding, EMC and servo/stepper motor control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for companies within the industrial automation or robotics industries.
• Create and maintain electrical documentation, schematics and BOM's.
• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards and codes.
• Provide technical support to customers, manufacturing & commissioning teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time.

Lumicity has partnered with a growing industrial automation company based in Fremont on their search for an Electrical Engineer to join their team. This is a hands-on role for an Electrical Engineer with experience designing complex electrical systems

This client works with a range of companies from startups to large corporations to assist them with the design and manufacture of automated machinery solutions.

The Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for companies within the industrial automation or robotics industries
• Create and maintain electrical documentation, schematics and BOM's
• Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards and codes
