STV Incorporated is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, healthcare, higher education, federal, transportation, and public-sector projects on the Denver team.

The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership through all project phases, with expertise in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power, and low-voltage systems, and will coordinate with architects,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Colorado).
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on building systems design.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP or similar electrical design and analysis software.
• Thorough understanding of NEC, NFPA, IBC, energy codes, and applicable industry standards.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.

This position is responsible for leading the design and delivery of electrical systems for a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, healthcare, higher education, federal, transportation, and public-sector projects. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership throughout all phases of project development, from concept and schematic design through construction administration.The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power, and low-voltage systems, along with a proven ability to manage multidisciplinary project coordination, client relationships, and project delivery. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects while collaborating with architects, engineers, owners, and construction teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.Responsibilities· Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects.· Prepare and oversee electrical calculations, design analyses, technical specifications, reports, and construction documents.· Design electrical power distribution systems, lighting systems, emergency/standby power systems, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage infrastructure.· Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, civil, architectural, and specialty disciplines.· Serve as Engineer of Record and provide professional oversight for project deliverables.· Review and seal engineering documents in accordance with state licensing requirements.· Conduct site investigations, field assessments, and existing conditions evaluations.· Participate in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation efforts.· Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, NEC, NFPA, energy codes, and industry standards.· Support construction-phase services, including RFIs, submittal reviews, change orders, punch lists, and site observations.· Mentor junior engineers and designers while fostering technical growth across the team.· Maintain and strengthen client relationships through responsive service and technical excellence.· Support business development activities, proposal efforts, and client presentations as needed.Required Qualifications· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.· Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
