JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the design, modeling, development, and testing of machines, structures, or systems. Develops functional requirements, understands, and applies standard engineering principles. Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and test operational capabilities. Designs and tests components, and integrates them to produce the final product. Monitors product quality and process efficiency. Evaluates overall design effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommends improvements.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience with system protection and distribution system modeling (ASPEN, Synergi, CAPE)
• Background in electrical engineering
