Electrical Engineer/Designer

Location: Orange County, California

Company: Studio+ Engineering

Employment Type: Full-Time (In-Office)

Studio+ Engineering is growing! We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer/Designer with 5–8 years of design experience to join our Orange County office. You’ll be part of a collaborative team designing innovative solutions for projects across K–12, Higher Education, Healthcare, Government, Power Generation, and Commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop electrical systems and construction documents for a wide range of building types
2. Conduct photometric calculations and system load analyses
3. Coordinate electrical designs, including power, lighting, and fire alarm systems, with project teams, architects, other engineering disciplines, and clients
4. Ensure compliance with NEC and applicable codes and standards
5. Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for production of design documents (Revit proficiency preferred)
6. Perform system studies and short circuit analysis using SKM (preferred)

Qualifications

1. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) required
2. 5–8 years of relevant electrical design experience
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Revit proficiency preferred
4. Experience with photometric calculations
5. SKM proficiency preferred
6. Strong communication and coordination skills
