Job summary

Jobot in Columbus, OH is seeking an electrical engineer with 2+ years of low-voltage design to join our national architecture, engineering, planning, and construction management firm. You will design and review electrical power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for commercial and institutional projects, and perform load calculations and equipment sizing in collaboration with clients.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, proficiency with Revit, and EIT or PE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience within low voltage design for buildings.
• Experience with Revit.
• EIT preferred, PE also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and review electrical power, lighting, and low-voltage systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
• Perform load calculations, short-circuit studies, voltage drop calculations and equipment sizing.
• Interfacing with clients.
