Job summary

Responsibilities include leading electrical design from concept to construction, coordinating with mechanical, plumbing, and structural disciplines, and applying life cycle cost analysis to informed design decisions.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in electrical discipline.
• 11+ years of experience in architectural/engineering consulting.
• Healthcare project experience required.
• Strong knowledge of construction costs and life cycle analysis.
• Proven track record managing clients and leading design teams.

Hiring a licensed Electrical PE to lead healthcare-focused electrical engineering projects out of a Chicago office. This role is ideal for a senior engineer ready to manage client relationships, lead a design team, and drive revenue on complex healthcare projects.

What You'll Do:

• Lead electrical engineering design on healthcare projects from concept through construction
• Manage client relationships and represent the firm at project meetings
• Oversee a full design team and manage revenue to support team operations
• Apply construction cost and life cycle analysis to design decisions
• Coordinate with parallel disciplines (mechanical, plumbing, structural) to deliver integrated designs

What You'll Need:

• Minimum 11 years of experience in architectural/engineering consulting
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in electrical discipline
• Healthcare project experience required
• Strong knowledge of construction costs and life cycle analysis
• Proven track record managing clients and leading design teams
• Experience managing revenue sufficient to support a full design team
