Job summary

Design Engineers is seeking an Electrical Engineer to contribute to the investigation, design, and construction of building interior and exterior lighting, electrical distribution, and power systems. You will work with clients to define needs and guide the design through to completion.

The role involves collaborating with designers and BIM technicians, performing power and lighting calculations, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required or preferred.
• Experience with design of lighting, power, fire alarm and low voltage systems is desirable.
• Experience with SKM Power Tools, AGI32 and Revit is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings with clients to establish needs and discuss design issues.

Position:

Electrical Engineering position involved with the investigation, design, and construction of building interior and exterior lighting, electrical distribution, and power systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them.
• Undertake electrical systems design including power systems, lighting, fire alarm and other low voltage systems.
• Perform engineering calculations for power and lighting systems.
• Provide direction to designers and BIM technicians for preparation of drawings detailing the design.
• Coordinate work with Clients and design team members of other disciplines.
• Create/prepare reports.
