Job summary

Grandview Tek in Carrollton, GA, is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join our expanding engineering team. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and commission machine controls, with hands-on work on PLCs, drives, and industrial equipment.

The role emphasizes designing electrical schematics, developing PLC/HMI programs (Siemens/Rockwell), and collaborating with operations and maintenance to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PLC programming experience (Siemens and/or Rockwell).
• Experience with HMI development and industrial controls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience creating or reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

We're partnering with a leading manufacturing company to add an Electrical Engineer II to their engineering team in Carrollton, GA.

In this role, you'll:

• Troubleshoot and optimize machine control systems to improve uptime, quality, and efficiency.

We're looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PLC programming experience (Siemens and/or Rockwell).
• Experience with HMI development and industrial controls.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience creating or reading electrical schematics.

Preferred:

• Experience in wire & cable or other continuous manufacturing environments
• AutoCAD Electrical experience
• PMP certification
