Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer to collaborate with the construction team on the design and development of mission-critical data center environments. You will coordinate electrical designs with consulting partners and support electrical subcontractors throughout the construction process.

The role also contributes to building master plans for our client’s facilities. The candidate should have a background in data center environments, a PE-licensed electrical engineering degree,

Qualifications

• Familiar with data center or large infrastructure environments.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, PE license.
• Hands-on design/installation support for switchgear, distribution equipment, generators, UPS.
• Background in critical power systems with MV switchgear and distribution experience.

The Electrical Engineer will collaborate with the construction team on the design and development of mission‑critical data center environments. This role is responsible for coordinating electrical designs with consulting partners and supporting electrical subcontractors throughout the construction process. Additionally, the Senior Electrical Engineer will contribute to the creation and implementation of building master plans for our client’s facilities.

Skills and Requirements

• Familiar with data center or large infrastructure environments

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, ETAP, Bluebeam, MS Office, Procore, MS Project.

• Strong technical and business communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent - PE License
