We have an immediate opportunity for an
Electrical Electronic Technician on 2nd shift

Location: Lititz, PA

Pay rates starting at $33.33/hr plus $2.00/hr for shift differential.

Overview of the role:

This position requires high technical skill, mainly constructing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems and components, troubleshooting and repairing electrical/electronic failures of manufacturing equipment. The individual will participate in manufacturing and facilities teams, recommend process improvements, ensure safety and compliance, and maximize uptime.

Essential functions & responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose and implement corrective actions for electrical failures.
  • Maintain electrical readiness of production and facility equipment.
  • Be knowledgeable of all equipment and test tools used for repairs.
  • Investigate faults, repair in a timely manner, troubleshoot malfunctions, disassemble, diagnose, test, repair or replace parts, reassemble, test, and calibrate.
  • Install electrical services for new or relocated equipment safely and compliantly.
  • Design, modify, repair, and install electrical or electronic components and systems.
  • Maintain inventory of electrical parts, keep work areas tidy.
  • Stay current with electrical codes and regulations.
  • Perform tasks from changing light bulbs to designing control logic and working with PLC programs.
  • Build systems from instructions, assist with technical needs and upgrades, interpret schematics, work safely, and apply PLC programming skills.

Other functions:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate profile:

  • High school diploma/GED required; technical associate degree desirable.
  • Understanding of basic math, proficiency with measurement tools, familiarity with machine tools, ability to interpret schematics, and previous industrial electrical experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects, work with various sources, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to pass aptitude test.
