Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler for a 12-month contract in Farmington, NM. The role involves reading work instructions, assembling with hand and power tools, and contributing to lean manufacturing initiatives.

You will perform quality checks and document defects, with potential cross-training across departments. The position requires a high school diploma, basic reading skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and online communications.

ELECTROMECHANICAL ASSEMBLER | Position type: Full-time, Contract | Duration: 12 months | Location: Farmington NM | Shift: 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and interpret work instructions (written and verbal) to complete manufacturing and production tasks according to established guidelines, procedures, and quality standards.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools following approved methods and procedures to complete assembly and production activities.
• Apply problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques while working collaboratively to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet established standards.
• Identify product defects and complete required documentation when defects are found.
• Rework and/or repair products in accordance with engineering specification changes.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to cross-train in other departments and perform additional production-related duties as business needs require.
• Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities and providing recommendations for process improvements.
• Observe all safety requirements and maintain a Foreign Object Damage (FOD) free work environment.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and used in accordance with established calibration schedules.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and online communication systems.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $17.00/hr to $20.00/hr
