Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. seeks an EIT II to take broader responsibility for design analyses, coordination, and documentation on active projects in Memphis. You will mentor junior engineers and help ensure deliverables meet client and code requirements.

You will apply SSR standards, perform computer-based calculations, and support Revit/CAD production while coordinating with multiple disciplines and stakeholders. This role supports professional growth and ownership culture.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with 2 years experience.
• Passed FE exam and certified EIT with a state licensure board.

Responsibilities

• Learn SSR standards and procedures while handling tasks on active projects.
• Assist design analyses using industry software and perform technical calculations.
• Support production of designs in Revit and CAD; coordinate with designers on development tasks.
• Coordinate with disciplines to determine equipment needs and provide technical information.
• Attend meetings with owners, clients, and architects; communicate design requirements to contractors.
